  • In July 1984, through the efforts of activists Donna Bloxom and Olivia Milgate, 20 Worcester County women met to form a Republican women's organization. Bylaws were adopted, dues were established and Republican Women of Worcester County (RWWC) began.
  • Today, RWWC is the largest Republican Women's club in the State of Maryland, it is one of 46 clubs that make up the 1200 member Maryland Federation of Republican Women  (MFRW), the largest voting bloc in the State.  As such RWWC is a sanctioned club of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), one of the largest political organizations in the country with a grassroots membership of over 100,000 and 1,800 clubs nationwide.
  • RWWC has consistently received the highest MFRW awards for its support of Republican values, candidates and community service, and NFRW's diamond award on four occasions.

Our Objectives

  • To unite Repubican Women to be effective an active in the Republican Party
  • To assist in the political education of its members.
  • To unite Republican Women to be effective an active in the Republican Party
  • To foster loyalty and promote the ideals of the Republican Party, and,
  • To increase the number of Republican voters.

RWWC Achievements

Engages in service to the community, veterans and active military with standing committees focused on Literacy Programs and Caring for America. Service includes;

  • Annual cash awards to "most improved" student graduating from the 3 County high schools,
  • Clothing collection for hospitalized veterans, toiletries for military returning from tours of duty, Valentines for Veterans and support of the Worcester County Veterans Memorial.
  • Book donations to local schools and "Back to School" programs.




General Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the Month at various restaurants in Worcester County. Location, time (lunch or dinner) and speaker/program are posted in the wwebsite's Calendar of Events and included in the montly newsletter.
